Supported input and limits
Decoding requires valid percent escapes. Plus signs remain literal plus signs; this is not form-urlencoded parsing. Maximum main input: 200,000 characters.

Does my input leave my browser?
No. A local worker processes it; text and files are not uploaded or stored.
Does this encode a whole URL?
It encodes a component. Separators are escaped, so do not use it to preserve a whole URL structure.
