How to delete your user account, stored preferences, comments, and request complete data erasure.
Self-Service Account & Data Deletion
Registered users may initiate permanent account and data deletion directly from their user settings dashboard. Upon confirmation, your authentication credentials, active session tokens, profile records, and private workspace configurations are irreversibly scrubbed from our active Cloudflare D1 database.
Scope of Purged Personal Data
Data subject to permanent deletion includes user profile email addresses, salted PBKDF2 password hashes, multi-factor secrets, user-generated comments, and any stored utility configurations. Client-side tools do not upload files, meaning your local document and image conversions require no server-side erasure.
Automated Backups & Retention Safeguards
Following account deletion, automated database backups containing encrypted snapshots are systematically overwritten within a 30-day lifecycle window. Security audit logs containing anonymized IP hashes and timestamped threat events are retained for up to 90 days strictly for fraud prevention and legal compliance.
Manual Deletion Requests & Verification
If you are unable to access your account dashboard or wish to verify complete data erasure, you may submit a formal deletion request to privacy@frees-ling.dev. Requests are processed within 15 business days following identity verification to prevent unauthorized account destruction.
