Time Zone Converter

Convert an explicit instant to an IANA time zone with daylight-saving rules.

Processed on your device
Maximum 200,000 characters. Input is not stored.

Ready. Use Ctrl/⌘ + Enter to run.

Completed and failed run counts are stored only on this device.

How to use this tool

Enter an ISO timestamp with Z or explicit offset, choose an IANA zone such as Asia/Shanghai, and run. The UTC instant and local display are both shown.

Supported input and limits

Naive local times are rejected to avoid DST ambiguity. Uses the browser's current time-zone database; future legal changes can affect projections. UTC seconds must be 0–59.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert 01:30 without an offset?

No. Such a local time may occur twice or not at all around DST changes. Supply a known UTC instant or explicit offset.

Is my input uploaded?

No. Processing happens in a disposable worker on your device. Only local success/failure counts are saved; input is never stored.
